Rural Independence

We shall mount again the rural throne,
And rule the country kingdoms, once our own.
Do we for these barbarians plant and sow?
Good heav’n! what dire effects from civil discord flow!

Governments of every stripe will always put the interest of the cities before yours since that is where the votes are – and we are seeing what kinds of votes they are: selfish and divisive.

The wantonness and effeminating sloth of the cities is here to stay, as is their absolute dominance in our democracy. This is a long-term trend; there is no pendulum that is going to swing back to return sanity to the world. In order to preserve our traditions and way of life, we need Rural Independence.

The urban rabble continue to dismiss our views on family, guns, religion, small government, and many other social and cultural issues as the products of unsophisticated minds – but who are the ones that vote to burn and loot their own cities?

Why do we suffer their arrogance when all of our country’s real wealth lies within our power:

  • Inland oil and gas.  Heating fuel, motor fuel, jet fuel.
  • Timber.  Pulp, paper, and lumber.
  • Construction materials.
  • Metals and mining.
  • Agriculture.  Food.
  • Transportation.  Roads and rail lines.
  • Military.  Over 40% comes from rural areas and small towns.
  • The manpower that constructs, extracts and otherwise produces these resources.

So awake and rise up, my rural friends! A new spring awaits your youthful confidence! Your Courage, your Integrity – your Virtue!  It is time to compel the stars to revolve around you!

The cities are untended fields that without our care are becoming overgrown with weeds that choke our growth.  The fruit grows bitter and over-ripe; the trees become withered.  And only we young spirits have the strength to tend these fields, together.  And together we will be the north wind that ripens the fruit until it is fine and sweet.

The warring Nations we in peace shall bind,
And with paternal Virtues rule Mankind.
