Biden forgot one thing: That his statement can be refuted in a few seconds.
Biden lies to make himself look better
Joe Biden’s policy is quickly summarized: On the one hand, he reverses Trump’s policies to a large extent – regardless of the repercussions. On the other hand, in some areas he is simply continuing Trump’s policy and describes it as his own achievement, for example when it comes to corona vaccines.
He is now claiming that there was no vaccine when he was sworn in on January 20th. Trump started Operation Warp Speed, a program to accelerate vaccine development and production, in May 2020. The first doses of the vaccine were administered on December 14th – over five weeks before Biden’s swearing-in!
Not Biden’s first lie
Biden’s claim joins a list of other lies and false promises. For example, he built a large part of his election campaign on the statement that Trump had no plan to fight corona, but he himself had one.Shortly after he was sworn in, he said, “There is nothing we can do to change the curve of the pandemic over the next few months.” After all, he promised to vaccinate 100 million people in the first 100 days of his presidency. It’s just stupid that almost a million vaccinations took place every day under Trump.
